The Determination Center is a nonprofit in Syracuse, New York. Mrs. Bettie Graham founded it in 2007, and she still runs it today.
Why we're here
We work with Syracuse kids who need more support than school alone can give. Our job is to help them take charge of their own learning and build steady, independent lives.
For most families that starts with the basics: a safe place after school, food, help with homework and an adult who checks in.

Mrs. Bettie Graham founded The Determination Center in 2007 and still runs it today.
She started the center so young people in Syracuse would have a safe place to go and a fair chance to do well.
