What happens after school
When school lets out, children come to The Determination Center. Staff and volunteers help them with homework and tutor them in the subjects they find hard.
Once the homework is done, there is time for projects. Kids work on science and technology, including some coding, and on art and music.
Children in our programs also eat with us, and we take field trips around Syracuse and beyond. Our mentors check in with the kids, encourage them, and talk with them about responsibility and healthy habits.
