Community gardens, neighborhood cleanups and tree planting in Syracuse, with our students helping to lead.
What we do
We grow food and plants in community gardens with our neighbors. A few times a year we hold cleanups to pick up trash on our streets, and we plant trees in local parks and along streets.
Our students take part and help lead the work. We also run hands-on workshops where young people learn how to take care of the environment by doing it.
Who can join
Anyone who wants to help: kids, families and volunteers. You don't have to come every week. Coming out for one cleanup or one planting day helps.
